The MER facilitated a workshop to educate the top 9 finalists about the MER mandate and services as well as the role of the incoming Queen, who will assume the MER ambassadorial role, to advocate public awareness of the gambling and liquor industries, through responsible gambling, liquor trade and consumption. The workshop took place at Emnotweni Southern Sun on Tuesday, 28 March 2023.
