On Monday, 09 October 2023, the MER visited the community of Mkhondo Local Municipality – eThandukukhanya to educate the community about responsible gambling and liquor consumption. “Responsible alcohol consumption means that you never have to feel sorry for what has happened while you were drinking. Basically, this means not becoming drunk. Responsible Gambling is gambling for pleasure and entertainment only, while being fully aware of the risks, exercising control and maintaining balance with other aspects of life, so as not to cause harm to yourself or others.”
